THE WESTCHESTER CENTER FOR THE STUDY OF PSYCHOANALYSIS AND PSYCHOTHERAPY (WCSPP) is a non-profit academic center which provides high quality post graduate training to mental health practitioners representing a variety of licensed disciplines. Founded and chartered by the New York State Board of Regents in 1974 as an interdisciplinary, psychotherapy and psychoanalytic educational center, we were the first in Westchester County to provide such intensive training to non-medical clinicians. As New York State has expanded the scope of licensing, we are currently able to train students with a variety of graduate degrees. Since our origins, WCSPP has been dedicated to an open exchange of ideas and dialogue. Our faculty represents diverse perspectives on human development and psychotherapeutic techniques.
