Psychoanalytic Association
The Psychoanalytic Association (PA)
WCSPP’s membership organization
The continued professional development of its members through various social and academic pursuits is the primary focus of the Psychoanalytic Association (PA) of WCSPP. It is comprised of WCSPP candidates, graduates, and faculty as well as affiliate members who have received comparable training elsewhere.
Membership dues support the PA’s activities which serve as a vital networking and continuing education resource for its members. The PA sponsors speakers, conferences and learning events, some of which are only available to PA members.
Membership benefits provide opportunities for networking and professional growth:
- Scientific Meetings
- Fireside Chats – small group discussions
- Psychoanalysis in Action speakers
- The Annual Retreat – a fun and educational weekend focused on a current topic
- Complimentary PEP-Web subscription
- Access to the WCSPP Listserv for referrals and sharing information
- Listing in and access to Online Directory of WCSPP Professionals
Finally, and most importantly, members of WCSPP have the opportunity to develop relationships and to share their work with each other, making WCSPP a special place in which to learn and to grow.
